  For a friendly face and great service, I go to Bob's. Their subs are very filling and very tasty. I usually get the Cold Italian Sub which is best with the hot peppers that she puts on it.
  
  I just truly appreciate getting what I ordered and with a very pretty smile. The opposite of what I have seen  during my first year in Boston. Thank goodness it is also right around the corner from my house here in Newton Upper Falls.

  Great little spot. Everything I've had has been excellent. Bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel is super tasty. Chicken bomb is wicked good - chicken, cheese, peppers, onions and mushrooms on a perfectly soft roll. So melty and delicious. Smoothies are great. They have good curly fries. The owner is really friendly and helpful. They have a few tables, but it's small, so I always get take out.

  I was in the neighborhood and wanted a fast lunch. Found this place on Yelp. I was a bit nervous since the reviews are all so old.
  
  Service was relatively quick and staff were friendly.
  
  I ordered a meatball sub. The meatballs were weird. Too mushy. I'd take a bite and pieces of meatball would start falling in my lap. Very little sauce. And the provolone was melted on the bread , not on the meatballs. Overall not a very good meatball sub.

  Bob's Sub Stop a nice little hidden spot in West Newton. Ordered here for Lunch 2 Subs & 2 Fries. with Tax Tip & Delivery fee about $29 about right for the area. The food is above average & Tastes good.
  
  Delivery was about 30 minutes. Ordered though Grub Hub they said 1 hour for delivery. They were early so I was happy with that.
  
  Note: I think that Grub Hub now uses there own Delivery Drivers. This makes me very happy. There drivers are on time, courteous and actually delivers the food to your door.
  
  The Chicken Bomb Sub was Large packed and very tasty. I really like there soft sub rolls.
  My wife got a large Tuna sub also Large packed and very tasty.
  
  I will definitely order from here again.
  
  Another Note: Bob's Sub Stop is open only until 3PM on Saturdays and not open on Sundays

  Pretty good little place....old fashioned and cozy. The ingredients always seem fresh and I really like the way the owner puts on a "new pair of sanitary gloves" when she makes my sub. Most sub shops don't do that. That is really impressive. This shop is far better than the chain sub-shops like Subway etc.
